Hofstra University is New York's largest private college. The university is located approximately 25 miles east of New York City, less than an hour away by car or train. The university currently has about 150 undergraduate and about 160 graduate programs to choose from, in Liberal Arts and Sciences, Business, Communication, Education, Health and Human Services and Honors studies, as well as a School of Law and School of Medicine.
